DAMTUH produces high-quality teas suitable for Koreans' tastes
through the preservation and development of traditional Korean teas and
based on more than 30 years of know-how. We do our best to produce
'Korean Teas' for the people of the world to enjoy.
HISTORY
(Founding Period)
1983: Seoul Development Food founded
1993: Factory founded and relocated to Sinpyeong Industrial Complex in Pocheon-gun, Korea
1996: Renamed from Seoul Development Food to DAMTUH Co., Ltd, and Launched in KIMS CLUB
(Entering Period)
1998: Launched in Lotte Mart, Hanaro Mart, and LG Logistics in Korea and started to export to the U.S.
2001: Launched in Home Plus, Carrefour and Emart. Obtained ISO 9001
2002: Exported to Chinese Market
(Growing Period)
2004: 3 Chinese branches (Shenyang, Beijing, and Shanghai) established
2007: Emart Ethical Management Award
2008: Affiliate Company DAMTUH F&B founded (Suncheon)
2009: $3 million in exports achieved
2010: Participated in New York, Shanghai Food Expo
(Take-off Period)
2011: Participated in Japan Foodex. US Branch Founded in Los Angeles
2012: MOU with holding company of Seoul National Unversity for academic-industry cooperation
2013: Food Product Export Tower award (Prime Minister's Award)
2015: Damtuh F&B $3 million in exports tower award
